This client is one of the leading factory automation sensor companies in the European market. We started working with this client in 2008 by establishing their Japanese representative office in Tokyo. We first researched market opportunities in Japan and established partnership with a Japanese local distributor who already had strong ties to potential end-users.
At the same time, we assigned one sales engineer who had engineering background to support sales activities of the local distribution company, especially when they needed deeper technical discussions with end-users.
Now, this distributor has reached over 100 companies, especially in medical equipment and construction machine companies, and the client and this distributor have been expanding sales in Japan.
